faketalesi saw x-men: first class yesterday. quick review behind the cut, spoilers.
it's sexist and racist, but it's also the epic gay love story of erik and charles. i may have spent half the movie biting my fingers to keep from squealing out loud.
i am slightly concerned that michael fassbender doesn't know how to smile.
when erik and charles were in bed to recruit cinna's daughter this is the dialogue (more or less) that i heard:
cinna's daughter: you guys know that it's extra for two, right?
erik: oh no, it's not like that.
charles: but i'm sure that it would be a magic experience.
i'm afraid that i hallucinated that last line because my brother didn't catch it at all and in all of the slashy squealing i've seen since then no one else has mentioned it. but as concerned as i am i can't help thinking that it'll just make everything else more fun.
now someone needs to write crossover fic about the hunger games and skins in which katniss meets tony stonem. because why not?

my sister and i finally caught up with degrassi and i may be so desperate for fiona/declan/holly j fic that i've started writing it. maybe. except i'm already working on psychoanalyzing logan mitchell and giving eduardo saverin a baby to work on another fic. so we'll see what happens.
