live blogging from work (more or less)

• I just handed a patron her book and told her it's due on April 23.  She said, "Right, right.  Now, when is it due?"  *headdesk*
• Yesterday was the one-month anniversary of the world's most tenacious illness and since I'm still not all that healthy I'm ready to return to the doctor.  However I might revolt if they try to give me more antibiotics.  One round was enough.
• I'm really into cello rock right now so if anyone has any recs in that department they'd be much appreciated.
• Cesare: And Lucrezia?
  Vannozza: She's fine.  Sleeping.  You miss her that much?
  Cesare: Always.  If anything were to happen to her... I'd die.
  
  So I've got a new show and a new ship, but what's interesting about this is that I'm passing up a pretty blatant slash pairing for a het one.  Of course, it's incestuous, but I'm not usually one for disregarding slash.
• On my baseball tumblr I posted a pic that I found online and it's received more reblogs and likes than my 11,200-word fanfic.  That's not so encouraging.
• Speaking of baseball, R.A. Dickey, knuckleballer extraordinaire, has announced his plans to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro next January.  The even cooler part is that the charity he's supporting is one that fights human trafficking.  I didn't think it was possible for him to be any more awesome but hey, there you go.
• New BTR tonight.  Squee.
