i have been opening fics for x-men: first class in tabs and then not reading them at all so i'm not sure that i actually care about getting into the fandom.

+i would make a post about how awesome frank turner is but i think that the ruckus has covered it far better. but i really do recommend listening to glory hallelujah, which i will probably play at high volume for most of the five days i have my house to myself

now i'm going to try to forget about the usmnt losing to panama (wtf?) and instead dwell on the fact that my blind pick for the stanley cup finals is one win away from being champions.

x-men is good, if you ignore a few blemishes. to borrow something i saw elsewhere, it's fannishly good, but a bit flawed on an intellectual level. but i think i liked thor a bit better.
