faketalesmumford & sons covered the national's "england" (found here) and it's going to be my favorite thing for a while, at least until the national returns the favor and covers mumford & sons, because wouldn't matt berninger sound amazing doing "little lion man?"

even if you're not a baseball fan you should read ted berg's writeup about his brother and jose reyes because it is fantastic. it's so sweet and important.
It is only now, eight years later, that I realize Chris never saw Reyes play. Or David Wright, for that matter, but he would have hated Wright – that’s a different story. A whole generation of Mets players have come up and grown up before me without him there to share it. And now, maybe, they’re going away. It’s… well, it’s strange to think about.
