faketalesi saw winnie the pooh over the weekend and it is currently the best movie i've seen in theaters all year. i've got a list of 11 more movies to see before the end of the year.
captain america
why i want to see it: wwii and superheroes (and buck compton). my excitement for this has hit a critical point; my sister and i both start screaming whenever the commercials come on. we've turned into 13-year-olds at a justin bieber concert.
cowboys & aliens
why i want to see it: i self-identify as a geek. i don't think i have a choice. (and it looks awesome.)
crazy, stupid, love
why i want to see it: emma stone. and emma stone.

30 minutes or less
why i want to see it: jesse eisenberg. i am a simple creature.
drive
why i want to see it: carey mulligan. really, it only takes one special person for some movies. and carey mulligan qualifies as special.
moneyball
why i want to see it: 1) i eat, sleep, breathe baseball and 2) i adore the book. it's going to bear no resemblance to the book (the cast list does not feature nick swisher at all, which means they're probably not going to include the 2002 draft and the great havoc that denard span creates, which is my favorite part of the book.) but it's aaron sorkin, so we'll see.

sherlock holmes 2
why i want to see it: it looks like it's going to be as gay as the first one, but i'm less enthused about this as i might have been before i discovered benedict and bilbo.
the girl with the dragon tattoo
why i want to see it: i'm not actually that into the series. i've only read the first book and i haven't seen the swedish versions, partly because they're all in my face at work all the time. but i'm a fan of daniel craig and that's enough for me.
and then there's the movie that comes out next year, for which my excitement trumps everything else.
amazing spider-man
i have watched this trailer about 10 times in the last few days. i could write essays on andrew garfield's hair, andrew garfield's arms, andrew garfield's smile. and then there's emma stone, who gets to touch that hair and that smile, and to inspire that smile. i adore them both.
