the girl who was on fire

So I've been thinking about the Hunger Games lately with the release of the trailer inspiring me to reread the series, and I am enjoying it even more than I did the first time. I blazed through the first two and have just started the third and I am having all of the thoughts. Most of them look like: Katnissssssssssss ♥ ♥ ♥
And then there is the movie, and the one ridiculous thing that I want to happen in it. I want them to show Haymitch in the Games headquarters, pensively waiting for the show to start, and in the background are the voices of people talking, and someone shouts something like "That sounds like Odair's kind of thing," and then everyone laughs while Haymitch just rolls his eyes, and every fan of the books sits up straight and looks for dear Finnick, but the camera cuts away, and we spend every shot of the mentors scanning the crowd for him. Don't ask me why, but I desperately want this. I don't want them to actually show him, and I doubt that they would rob themselves of that dramatic announcement at a later point, but yes, I want the studio to screw with us a little. (I never claimed to be sane, okay?)

recast_bigbang with the intention of writing my story about the time Tony Stark competed in the Hunger Games. Because why not?
